bloggin again

Well. This heat has got me too tired to do anything but surf the web, so I decided maybe I should blog again....

Not much is new really, I've been working pretty hard on school stuff, but it never seems to get me anywhere, such is the life of a grad student.

Krista signed me up to be on her Relay for Life team, so it looks like I better work a little harder to get in shape before October. I'm taking donations so anyone interested let me know.

Ummm....nothing else, so I'm off to install the new version of itunes.

WIP Wednesday

I can't believe that's it Wednesday again already...and that I missed last Wednesday. I have been a remiss blogger. Things are busy I guess. So here's the list. Updates are in italics.

1) crocheted shrug: 1 sleeve done plus one cuff and about an inch of the second sleeve
2) homespun knit hooded sweater:quarter of a sleeve and a hood to go
3) knitted sweater for hubby: back complete
4) knitted socks for hubby: one sock done, one to go

WIP Wednesday

Is it Wednesday already! Wow, the weeks fly by when you're having fun.

1) crocheted shrug: 1 sleeve done plus one cuff and about an inch of the second sleeve
2) turquoise crocheted socks: Done...no longer a WIP. woohoo
3) homespun knit hooded sweater: half a sleeve and a hood to go
4) baby quilt for someone who might read this blog: only the hand stich on the binding: 1 side left (I HATE hand stiching) jeez it seemed like I had done more than that. Oops
5) knitted sweater for hubby: back complete
6) various other projects that have not yet really reached a state of "in progress yet" !
7) started another pair of socks and have 0.5 sock complete

Now that's cool!

I went to check my istockphoto account...something I haven't done in a while because my camera has been far from my brain. I'm up to another 26 bucks though! Go me. And this Zigview thing was listed in the news. I felt I had to share it with you. Way Cool. I'm not sure it's useful, but the technogeek in me loves it!

I missed Chester...

So Chester is gone home to mommy Krista and not hiding around our house. I missed him. Since I'm obviously not capable of owning a real pet. I adopted a virtual pet. Everyone say hi to iofishy. scroll all the way down to see him!

Well, in case anyone is still reading this after my hiatus I figured I should update. Coming home was like being kicked in the head by a horse and I'm just starting to get back to normal...and therefore blogging again. Maybe I'll get to catch up on my email next week ;).
