TGIF

Wow. Friday never felt so good. What a long week! Everytime I have to do fieldwork I forget how stressful it is on my whole body and then wonder why I'm so tired at the end of the day. You'd think I'd learn and like try to store up my energy or something.

Graduation looms farther and farther away ad more equipment breaks. The story of my life, I know. But the folks in Germany were mucho helpful and it looks like they might get us back on track without too much delay. (other then all the time it takes for something to get to germany!)

But on a good note: My paper is finally in print. Check out current abstracts look ma, I'm first on the list. Be proud!

childish moment

I don't want to go to school anymore. I don't like the mean reviewers. They ask hard questions. ... *pouting* and *sad eyes*

A real post. I promise

So this is what's new. We have decided that we are inefficient at well, life in general. So to solve all of our problems, we need a dishwasher. I decided this at 8am, and as many of you know, I shouldn't really be allowed to think before at least 9. But, the thought stuck, so to the internet I went. Our kitchen is too small for a real dishwasher without doing a major remod, which we don't have time or money for right now, so we need a portable one. Can someone please explain to me why when you cut the size of a dishwasher by a quarter the price doubles. Best buy has one model that would be available to us. Apparently we are not in their special delivery zone so we can't order one. The store is three miles from my house, I don't understand this situation, three miles is too far to deliver a dishwasher that would fit in the back seat of my corolla??? So we went to look at this one model that they have in the store. Web price 139.99. There are two of them in the store, one without the connector kit or instructions for 99.99 and one in an "open box" for 219.99. WTF (sorry mom), but ?!?!? So off we went on the hunt. Bernie's sleazy sales guy, Sears $500 for a "portable" dishwasher that I couldn't even roll, we thought about lowes, but after the leaking washing machine incident two years ago I couldn't bear the thought...so we came home, sadly without a dishwasher :(. Back to the internet!

SO, I think we this one from the evil Walmart. It's cute right? Maybe I don't need a dishwasher after all.

In the meantime Mark is building a new microwave cart and pantry shelf for my mixer...in an attempt to make our kitchen more efficient. Right now I can't walk in there so I think we failed on that front too.

or check out these Google Hacks.

who knew I had been to so many states! I didn't even know that until I actually clicked them. I've never been to Delaware though. What's up with that??? Road trip anyone?

Ok...this post is important.

Mark and I are walking in the Windham relay for life with Krista. This is to raise money for cancer, which we all know is a cause that is important and near to my heart. ANY donation is helpful. BIG THANKS TO JUSTIN for donating without me even asking. You can click here or here to make a donation online. Thank you so much for reading.

sooo...I don't really have time to blog

Since I've been pretty busy lately I haven't blogged in weeks...so I feel the need to leave at least a little tidbit to those of you who are still faithfully checking this thing. When I do have a moment of free time I have taken to reading this blog. And from there, I give you this IKEA story. Now I happen to love IKEA, but I know some of you don't so enjoy.
